By building and manipulating Bunraku-style paper puppets in teams, participants learn to develop their listening, collaboration and dialogue skills.<\/p>\n

First, the artist guides participants on how to create and build a character. To do so, you will only need your imagination and some paper, tape and marker.<\/p>\n

The workshop\u2019s teamwork requirements, adjusted to suit participants\u2019 ages, are designed to explore the benefits of cooperating in a playful way, then reaping the rewards of non-judgmental collaboration.<\/p>\n

The second part of the workshop offers exercises that stimulate listening and collaboration. Participants learn the basics of three-person manipulation and then present their puppet to the other teams.<\/p>\n
